Pixie fondly recalls Blue Smoke, Ruru and her love of music with Laura Frykberg last night on TV3's Nightline.
The wartime song Blue Smoke sung by Pixie, is also the title of Chris Bourke's book Blue Smoke: The Lost Dawn of New Zealand Popular Music 1918-1964 and last night it won three categories at this year's book awards here in Wellington. Congratulations Chris!
